Dr. Nazli Diba, DDS

Dr. Nazli Diba is a pediatric dentist who sees children at ToothDocs from infancy through adolescence. Her pediatric dentistry practice covers the first dental visit, routine checkups and cleanings, preventive care such as sealants and fluoride, and treatment when it is needed, delivered with what she describes as the gentlest and kindest care.

Dr. Diba's approach begins from a simple observation: a trip to the dentist can be stressful for a child, especially when everything is unfamiliar. So she works to make the office warm and welcoming, introduces each step before it happens, and paces the visit to the child in front of her. Her goal is that any trip to the dentist is easy, and that the habits formed in childhood carry into adult life.

Her training is broad. After her DDS at Stony Brook, Dr. Diba completed residencies in general dentistry and in pediatric dentistry at UCLA and Long Island Jewish Hospital, and received additional training in the treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate and in dentistry for patients with special needs. Families whose child has additional medical or developmental needs will find that experience reflected in how she plans care. Dr. Diba sees patients at both the New York and Roslyn offices.
