Dr. Mukhtar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California before completing her specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. There, she received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, dental implant therapy, soft tissue grafting, regenerative procedures, and esthetic periodontal surgery.
