While in Dental school, Dr. Heller pursued a research internship, also at NYU, where he explored dental implant methods and technologies, including implant placement and osseointegration. He went on to complete his general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where he focused on all areas of general and specialty dentistry and earned the distinction of chief resident.
