Dr. Steven Kaufheil
Dr. Steven Kauftheil, DDS, is a caring and devoted prosthodontist at ToothDocs. Dr. Kauftheil is highly experienced in general dentistry and specialized fields such as restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
After earning his bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University in New York, Dr. Kauftheil received his medical doctorate from the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. He went on to complete additional prosthetic dentistry training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Many patients choose a prosthodontist as a general dentist because of their rigorous education in general dentistry and their training in advanced dental techniques. Dr. Nazli Diba
Dr. Nazli Diba, DDS, is a devoted pediatric dentist working with children and their families at ToothDocs. Dr. Diba sees patients from infancy through adolescence, working to provide the gentlest and kindest care.
Dr. Diba received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete her residencies in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry at UCLA and Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Diba has also received special training in the treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate and in special needs dentistry.
Going to the dentist can be stressful for a child, particularly when the territory is unknown. In working with her younger patients and their parents, Dr. Diba strives to create an office environment that is warm and welcoming. Her goal is to make any trip to the dentist easy.
Dr. Victoria Friedel
Dr. Victoria Friedel grew up on Long Island and completed her undergraduate studies at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Friedel then completed a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she was honored as Resident of the Year.
She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and has a strong clinical interest in cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry. Dr. Friedel is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable in the chair and confident in their smiles.
Outside of the office, she enjoys running marathons, spending time in central park, traveling, and going to the beach.
Dr. Oren Hariri
Oren Hariri, a dedicated dental professional from Baltimore, Maryland, has built a foundation in dentistry through a comprehensive educational journey rooted in his hometown. After completing his early education in Baltimore, Oren pursued his dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he developed a strong clinical and academic background. He then advanced his training with a one-year General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a wide range of dental procedures and patient care. To further his expertise, Oren undertook a three-year specialization in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University. This extensive training and commitment to excellence has equipped Oren with a deep understanding of both general and specialized dental care, allowing him to provide exceptional treatment and service to his patients.

Dr. Chris Higgins
Dr. Christopher D. Higgins is committed to practicing patient-centered, evidence-based endodontics. He is known for his positive, calming demeanor and making patient comfort his top priority. Dr. Higgins attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and was awarded the Endodontic Excellence Award by the New York State Association of Endodontists. He continued his specialty education at Columbia University, receiving his Advanced Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Higgins remains committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and maintains a national presence as a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the New York State Association of Endodontists. Dr. Higgins specializes is in non-surgical root canal therapy, non-surgical retreatment, endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy), and the management of traumatic dental injuries. He is also experienced in regeneration, apexification and internal bleaching procedures. Dr. Higgins takes pride in fostering quality patient experiences by combining skilled training with compassionate care. Originally from Miami, FL, Dr. Higgins enjoys spending time at the beach, routing for his Miami Heat/Dolphins sports teams, and exploring restaurants in New York City.

Dr. Katie Chou
Dr. Chou grew up in Orange County, California, alongside her parents and two younger sisters. Her early exposure to volunteer dental outreach planted a lasting interest in children’s oral health and public education. She chose pediatric dentistry because she finds joy in caring for young smiles , making dental visits educational, interactive, and comfortable from start to finish.
As a pediatric dental specialist, Dr. Chou focuses on prevention, early intervention, and habit‑building for lifelong oral health. She believes each dental visit should leave children confident with parents fully equipped to support healthy home routines.
She earned a BA in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DMD) degree from NYU College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York to become a true specialist in children’s oral health.
Her renowned “tell‑show‑do” approach, combined with gentle preventive care, is designed to reduce anxiety and help children build trust. She works with families to promote healthy habits at home and educate parents so they can support their child’s smile long term.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Chou enjoys golf, exploring restaurants, traveling, and discovering new cuisines.
Dr. Marlena Adamczyk, DDS
Dr. Marlena Adamczyk, DDS, is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children and their families feel at ease throughout every stage of dental care. She treats patients from infancy through adolescence, always focusing on delivering gentle, thoughtful, and individualized care.
Dr. Marlena earned her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and continued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University, the area's top ranked children's hospital. During her specialty training, Dr. Marlena Adamczyk cared for children with a wide range of medical complexities and dental challenges. Her research focused on identifying gaps in dental knowledge and developing strategies to address them with the goal of enhancing oral health outcomes. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, New York County Dental Association and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Evelyn Spencer
Dr. Evelyn Spencer is a Board-certified periodontist specializing in periodontal therapy and dental implantology. She completed her residency in Periodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Australia, she holds a Bachelor of Medical Science in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney.
Dr. Spencer is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Periodontics (AAP), and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). She is involved with local study clubs, staying at the forefront of developments in her field while fostering collaboration with fellow dental professionals.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Spencer has contributed to research at prestigious institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Imperial College London, and the University of Sydney. She was recognized by the Northeast Society of Periodontists for her excellence in the field and has served on the board of the Vernon Brightman Research Society while at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Spencer is dedicated to providing compassionate care, focusing on the unique needs of each patient.
