Dr. Steven Kauftheil
Dr. Steven Kauftheil, DDS, is a caring and devoted
prosthodontist at ToothDocs. Dr. Kauftheil is highly
experienced in general dentistry and specialized fields such
as restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
After earning his bachelor's degree from Stony Brook
University in New York, Dr. Kauftheil received his medical
doctorate from the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook.
He went on to complete additional prosthetic dentistry
training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Many patients choose a prosthodontist as a general dentist
because of their rigorous education in general dentistry and
their training in advanced dental techniques. Along with
providing quality treatments, like the replacement and
reconstruction of teeth, Dr. Kauftheil believes in giving each
patient a level of personal commitment that makes them feel
both comfortable and informed about their options.
Dr. Kauftheil is a member of the American Dental Association
and the American College of Prosthodontics. Additionally, he
regularly takes continuing education courses to offer his

Dr. Nazli Diba
Dr. Nazli Diba, DDS, is a devoted pediatric dentist working
with children and their families at ToothDocs. Dr. Diba sees
patients from infancy through adolescence, working to provide
the gentlest and kindest care.
Dr. Diba received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the
State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental
Medicine. She went on to complete her residencies in general
dentistry and pediatric dentistry at UCLA and Long Island
Jewish Hospital. Dr. Diba has also received special training
in the treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate and in special
needs dentistry.
Going to the dentist can be stressful for a child,
particularly when the territory is unknown. In working with
her younger patients and their parents, Dr. Diba strives to
create an office environment that is warm and welcoming. Her
goal is to make any trip to the dentist easy.
Dr. Chris Higgins
Dr. Christopher D. Higgins is committed to practicing patient-centered, evidence-based endodontics. He is known for his positive, calming demeanor and making patient comfort his top priority. Dr. Higgins attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and was awarded the Endodontic Excellence Award by the New York State Association of Endodontists. He continued his specialty education at Columbia University, receiving his Advanced Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Higgins remains committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and maintains a national presence as a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the New York State Association of Endodontists. Dr. Higgins specializes is in non-surgical root canal therapy, non-surgical retreatment, endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy), and the management of traumatic dental injuries. He is also experienced in regeneration, apexification and internal bleaching procedures. Dr. Higgins takes pride in fostering quality patient experiences by combining skilled training with compassionate care. Originally from Miami, FL, Dr. Higgins enjoys spending time at the beach, routing for his Miami Heat/Dolphins sports teams, and exploring restaurants in New York City.

Dr. Evelyn Spencer
Dr. Evelyn Spencer is a Board-certified periodontist
specializing in periodontal therapy and dental implantology.
She completed her residency in Periodontics at the University
of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctor
of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
Originally from Australia, she holds a Bachelor of Medical
Science in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney.
Dr. Spencer is an active member of several professional
organizations, including the American Dental Association
(ADA), the American Association of Periodontics (AAP), and the
International Team for Implantology (ITI). She is involved
with local study clubs, staying at the forefront of
developments in her field while fostering collaboration with
fellow dental professionals.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Spencer has
contributed to research at prestigious institutions such as
the University of Pennsylvania, Imperial College London, and
the University of Sydney. She was recognized by the Northeast
Society of Periodontists for her excellence in the field and
has served on the board of the Vernon Brightman Research
Society while at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Spencer is dedicated to providing compassionate care,
focusing on the unique needs of each patient. She believes in
fostering a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients
feel heard and supported throughout their treatment journey.
When not in the office, Dr. Spencer can be found exploring New
York City’s restaurant and music scene, adding to her
ever-growing plant collection in efforts to please her cat, or
on a quest to find Vegemite in the wild.
Dr. Julia Lin
Dr. Julia Lin is dedicated to providing patient-centered,
evidence-based care with a strong focus on patient comfort and
high-quality outcomes. With a compassionate approach and
attention to detail, Dr. Lin ensures that every patient feels
at ease throughout their treatment.
Dr. Lin completed her undergraduate studies at The George
Washington University before earning her Doctor of Dental
Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Columbia University College of
Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice
Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island,
where she gained advanced training in comprehensive care and
complex cases. Currently, Dr. Lin is pursuing her specialty
training in Endodontics at Columbia University, where she is
refining her expertise in root canal therapy and microsurgical
endodontics.
As a root canal doctor, Dr. Lin focuses on non-surgical root
canal therapy and retreatments. She is committed to using the
latest techniques and technology to save teeth and restore
oral health. Her goal is to deliver precise, effective
treatment while making every patient’s experience as
comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with her
family, exploring new restaurants in New York City, and
traveling.
Dr. Ryan Reichelt
Dr. Ryan Reichelt is a board-eligible endodontist dedicated to
preserving natural teeth through high-quality, efficient root
canal care. A Long Island native, he earned his DMD from
Midwestern University–Illinois and completed a General
Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital. Prior to
specializing in endodontics, Dr. Reichelt practiced as a
general dentist for nearly 10 years, giving him a practical,
restorative-minded approach to treatment and case selection.
He went on to complete his endodontic specialty training at
Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Reichelt
focuses on delivering precise, efficient endodontic care using
modern diagnostic and treatment techniques. He places a strong
emphasis on thoughtful case selection, clear communication,
and predictable outcomes to help patients return comfortably
to their normal routine as quickly as possible.
Outside the office, Dr. Reichelt enjoys spending time with his
family and staying engaged in continuing education and
clinical innovation.
Dr. Noor Mukhtar
Dr. Noor Mukhtar is a periodontist dedicated to providing
exceptional periodontal and implant care with a compassionate,
patient centered approach. She is committed to helping
patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through
personalized treatment, advanced clinical techniques, and a
focus on long-term oral health.
Dr. Mukhtar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from
the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of
Southern California before completing her specialty training
in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York
University College of Dentistry. There, she received advanced
training in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal
disease, dental implant therapy, soft tissue grafting,
regenerative procedures, and esthetic periodontal surgery.
Known for her gentle demeanor and meticulous attention to
detail, Dr. Mukhtar believes exceptional care begins with
building meaningful relationships with her patients. She takes

Dr. Nicholas Arroyo
Dr. Nicholas Arroyo is a board-eligible periodontist
specializing in surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Arroyo was born and raised in the
Bronx. He graduated magna cum laudefrom Florida State
University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences
and a minor in Chemistry. He then earned his Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental
Medicine ,where he received the Division of Excellence in
Periodontics Award.
Dr. Arroyo completed his residency in Periodontics at the
University of California, San Francisco, where he also
received a Master of Science in Craniofacial Sciences. Through
his advanced training, he specializes in dental implant
placement, implant site development, complex tooth
extractions, treatment of gingival recession, crown
lengthening procedures, and the management of advanced
periodontal disease.
Dr. Arroyo is passionate about delivering thoughtful,
patient-centered care and prioritizes comfort, communication,
and trust in every interaction. Energetic, hardworking, and
personable, he enjoys building meaningful relationships with
his patients and believes that exceptional care begins with

Dr. Anna Lam, DMD, MBS
Dr. Anna Lam, DMD, MBS is a pediatric dentist and a native New
Yorker. She completed her undergraduate studies at The
Pennsylvania State University, earned her master's degree from
Rutgers University, and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine
degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of
Dental Medicine.
After dental school, Dr. Lam obtained her certificate in
Pediatric Dentistry from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx,
New York. During her residency, she gained invaluable
experience providing dental care to children with special
healthcare needs and a wide range of complex medical
conditions.
Dr. Lam has always been passionate about pediatric dentistry.
Before dental school, she worked as a dental assistant, served
as Co-President of the Pediatric Dental Club during her dental
education, and moonlighted as a general dentist throughout her
pediatric residency. She is also committed to giving back to
the community and has volunteered with Give Kids a Smile Day,
the American Cancer Society, and Remote Area Medical outreach
programs.
Her philosophy is to provide the highest quality dental care
in a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for both
children and their families. She values building lasting
relationships with patients and parents while emphasizing the
importance of compassionate care, education, and maintaining

Outside of the office, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with

restaurants and cuisines. She can often be found taking long
walks through Central Park with her favorite iced matcha.
Dr. Shikha Dharia, DMD
Dr. Shikha Dharia is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized dental care
for children of all ages. Known simply as "Dr. Shikha" to her
patients, she was born and raised in upstate New York.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case
Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in
Cleveland, Ohio. Following dental school, she completed a
one-year General Practice Residency, a one-year Fellowship in
Pediatric Dentistry, and a two-year Pediatric Dentistry
Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Shikha's advanced training has provided her with extensive
experience in treatment planning, caring for children with
special healthcare needs and complex medical conditions, and
creating a positive, anxiety-free dental experience for every
child. She is committed to fostering a warm and welcoming
environment where patients and their families feel
comfortable, heard, and confident in their care.
In addition to caring for patients at ToothDocs, Dr. Shikha
serves as an attending at Montefiore Medical Center, where she
teaches pediatric dental residents and provides care for
children with extensive dental needs in the operating room.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shikha lives in New York City and
enjoys exploring new neighborhoods, trying new restaurants,
and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Victoria Friedel
Dr. Victoria Friedel grew up on Long Island and completed her
undergraduate studies at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from
Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she
graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the
prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor
society. Dr. Friedel then completed a General Practice
Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she
was honored as Resident of the Year.
She is passionate about providing high-quality,
patient-centered care and has a strong clinical interest in
cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry. Dr. Friedel
is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable in the chair
and confident in their smiles.
Outside of the office, she enjoys running marathons, spending
time in central park, traveling, and going to the beach.
